The Buzzaround XL 3-wheel is one of the lowest-priced Buzzaround Mobility Scooter models offered by Golden Technologies. This means that it is one of the most affordable options. Just because it is cheaper than the rest of the models, it doesn't mean that it won't hold up. Golden Technologies doesn't cut corners when it comes to making high-quality mobility products like this one. The GB-121B-STD scooter is very comfortable and very safe. It has a new seat style that is in our opinion, the most comfortable folding seat out of any travel-friendly mobility scooter on the market. It has automatic brakes and a single-handed-use throttle system known as a delta tiller.
It comes apart into 5 lightweight pieces with the heaviest piece weighing only 32 lbs! This makes it very easy to transport in the trunk of your car or in the cargo space of your SUV/Van. It also has a light on the front, which allows you to illuminate the path in front of you. This scooter is also capable of going on grass for short periods, so if you need to cross over a grass patch, it's great to know that you can do so without having to turn around and find an alternate path (note, if you are close to the weight capacity, it will not perform as well on grass. It is not designed for full-time use on grass).

There are many special comfort factors with the Buzzaround XL 3-wheel mobility scooter that other scooters don’t have or that you have to pay extra for. This scooter was designed with a comfortably cushioned 17 x 14.5-inch stadium-style seat so that you can enjoy riding for hours at a time. Those with a taller build love this scooter due to the extra legroom provided by the Buzzaround XL 3-wheel compared to the 4-wheel Buzzaround XL which has wheel wells that take up space on the floorboard area. Having extra legroom allows you to stretch your legs a bit more and you can easily get off and on the scooter without needing to adjust the tiller. The larger foot deck also has an anti-slip material for added safety.
The padded Delta wraparound tiller can be controlled using just one hand preventing muscle fatigue or is nice for those with limited usage in one arm, and it is maneuverable for better reach. The weight capacity of the Buzzaround XL is 300 pounds so it can easily carry those with a larger frame. The easy-to-read display features on the control panel are simple to understand and the backlit battery gauge will let you know exactly when the batteries need to be charged. The armrests flip up, they are width-adjustable and removable. The tiller has a tilt-adjust feature which is easy to use. Simply loosen the tiller adjustment knob counterclockwise, then adjust the tilt angle of the tiller. Once you find the perfect tilt angle, you can retighten the tiller adjust knob and you're good to go!
How to Transport the Golden Buzzaround XL 3-Wheel Mobility Scooter.
You have heard of mobility scooters that are easy to disassemble, but the Buzzaround XL 3-wheel has been designed to be easier than ever to take apart. The wireless disassembly is quick with just three steps and requires no tools. To disassemble the scooter, simply lift the seat off and pull out the battery pack by the handle. Then you can lower the tiller, and detach the front half from the rear half with the quick-release lever. The total weight of the Buzzaround is 93 pounds, and when taken apart for transport, the heaviest piece is only 33 pounds. If you wish to install a lift system in your vehicle, this scooter can be equipped with a docking device for mechanical lifts or hoists.
