Tri-Lift LT Overview
The Tri-Lift application is known to be the most user-friendly scooter carrier option on the market for many reasons. The main reason is that you can use this lift for more than one type of mobility device and you can easily take it from one vehicle and install it on another. The Tri-Lift is available in several sizes, not just the Lite version.
The Tri-Lift is not like your average vehicle lift system. It doesn't have a big bulky platform that takes up a ton of room. Instead, the Tri-Lift LT uses a crank system that raises and lowers an arm that has a hook (triangle-shaped) on the bottom of the arm. The Triangle-shaped hook gets hooked onto the underside of a bracket that you need to have installed on your scooter or power chair. Check out the video below to get familiar with the application. NOTE: The video below shows the Tri-Lift HD, which is similar, but much bigger than the Tri-Lift Lite.

Why We Recommend The Tri-Lift Application
If you want a scooter lift that isn't going to take up a ton of room, then the Tri-Lift is the best option. You can also use the Tri-Lift with several different types of scooters or power wheelchairs. All you need to do is purchase and install the right lifting bracket on your mobility device and you can use the same lift for all of your mobility devices. With most platform lifts, that is not the case. Platform lifts usually are very specific to certain models depending on the wheelbase. With the Tri-Lift, since there is no platform, you just need to get the right size lift to handle all of your mobility devices.
