Limited One Year Warranty
Mobility Scooters Direct honors a one year limited warranty on all batteries purchased from out online store free from defects or workmanship. Mobility Scooters Direct offers this warranty only to the original purchaser of the batteries and the warranty is not transferrable in any way. If the batteries are deemed to be bad within one year Mobility Scooters Direct will honor the appropriate manufactures warranty at the manufactures option.
This one year limited warranty has strict warranty exclusions on all batteries purchased from Mobility Scooters Direct. These exclusions include but are not limited to, improper charging, not charging, misuse, damage by accident, or any instance where the batteries are exposed to natural disaster. This warranty does not cover corrosion to terminals.
In the event of a warranty claim the owner of the batteries must first contact Mobility Scooters Direct and inform us of your battery issue. Next, the customer must take the batteries to their local battery center and provide proof of purchase to the local battery dealer. When taking the batteries to the dealer, the batteries must be tested and put in writing that the batteries have failed a load test. If the batteries are under the limited voltage threshold, the batteries will not be warranted due to lack of charging or improper charging. After your local battery center, you (the customer) must provide us with the written report of the batteries. When we receive the report via fax, mail, or email we will submit the claim to the appropriate manufacturer. Please not all battery warranties can take up to 30 days to fulfill the warranty claim.
