It depends on the model, if its a gogo, yes.

You would need a voltage meter, and the ability to take the dash apart. Then you can test the voltage change when you give the throttle action. It is not easy, and you would definitely need the experience to do this.

Any hardware store should have them, just bring the screws with you and ask an associate to match them up.

It’s the batteries, for sure. If you need to order batteries, give us a call and connect with our parts department.

The address is not going to help you, the manufacturer only sells to dealers, not end-users (customers). You need to work with a dealer, that can help you get the part you need. The Victory XL 140 is discontinued and parts are not going to be easy to get.

The Pride Prowler has been discontinued for a long time, it could be many things. Getting parts is not going to be easy. I would consider taking this model to a tech. Its going to be nearly impossible to help you online without having the scooter in the shop.

By the way, most of the time if you leave your batteries connected for a year, the batteries will not work after you go to use them again. The batteries might need a load test.

Did you check the voltage on the charging port? If it’s not ready 24+ volts, your battery wiring is wrong. You may also check the ignition voltage to ensure you are getting 24 volts there too.

It’s time to get a new scooter most likely, this model has been discontinued for a long time. Have you taken it to a tech for an evaluation?

If you have corrosion that is visible, you probably have even more corrosion in areas that are not visible. Once corrosion starts, its keeps traveling under wire sleeves, you need to re-wire your scooter or take it to a tech to give it a proper evaluation.

No. Just be careful, most powered mobility products will stop randomly even when in free-wheel mode if you push it manually for a long time. I think its a safety feature.

That is not correct. It sounds like you have an issue with the automatic brakes. You definitely need a technician for this.

It’s the brake system or motor, either way, it’s going to cost a lot to fix. If the unit is very old, it might be time for a new one. These parts are on back order and inflation isn’t making them any cheaper. Sorry if that is not the answer you were looking for.
