If it is moving on its own, you have a bad controller. There is no possible way the scooter can reach 100 mph. Maybe 5 mph, at the most. Unless you have a long driveway and the scooter is in neutral and gaining momentum over a long period of time, it will not go faster than 5 mph.

Just give our parts department a call, and they will help you out. Make sure to have the make, model and serial number handy of your mobility device.
You need to turn on the brake system, look for 2 levers, and make sure they are in the drive position. The chair should not move when you try to push it manually, that is how you know the brakes are engaged.
