KeymasterIf it is moving on its own, you have a bad controller. There is no possible way the scooter can reach 100 mph. Maybe 5 mph, at the most. Unless you have a long driveway and the scooter is in neutral and gaining momentum over a long period of time, it will not go faster than 5 mph.

KeymasterYou need to turn on the brake system, look for 2 levers, and make sure they are in the drive position. The chair should not move when you try to push it manually, that is how you know the brakes are engaged.

KeymasterSome users switch the lever to the opposite side which makes it easier for them. It’s all depending on your circumstances.
