The best option for traveling overall is going to have to be the Go-Go LX which is one of many models in the Go Go series. There are over 10 different Go-Go mobility scooter models all of which feature unique specifications that are designed to fit the needs of the avid traveler. One of the key features that make the Go-Go the best travel mobility scooter is the patented feather-touch disassembly. Go Go scooters are the easiest scooters to disassemble, hence the name “Feather-Touch” disassembly.

The SC50LX scooter is capable of supporting up to 300 lbs, can travel 5 MPH, and has a range of up to 11.7 miles with an upgraded battery. Best Overall Heavy Duty Mobility Scooter
For the best overall HD scooter, we had to consider all of the variables and we found that this scooter is also the top choice for the scooter with the most upgrades. The best heavy-duty mobility scooter is the Afiscooter S4 Heavy Duty Scooter. This is due to the fact that the Afiscooter S4 has a 1400-watt motor and comes standard with 10″ drive wheels. This scooter can handle various terrains and inclines without issues. It can also be used in shopping plazas and even indoors since it has electromagnetic automatic brakes and a delta tiller system. So if you want something that is really “heavy-duty”, this is it.
The Afiscooter S4 with the upgraded motor package and the upgraded suspension is what we call a “beast”! This was a new upgrade that became available in 2021 and we are one of the first dealers in the USA to have a model in our showroom.
Once again, below you will find the specs of the S4 by Afikim. Keep in mind that the new upgrades allow the S4 to go up to 12 MPH with the high output motor upgrade, and the upgraded suspension increases the weight capacity of the s4 to 600 lbs.

The Best Features Travel Mobility Scooter
The best feature travel disability scooter is the Pride Jazzy Zero 8 Turn Mobility Scooter. The Jazzy Zero Turn is an awesome-looking mobility scooter that features a variety of attractive colors, such as Green Moonstone, Fire Opal, or Sapphire Blue.
The Zero Turn Jazzy scooter has a 24V motor that enables the product to reach a 4-mile-per-hour maximum speed. With sealed lead acid 12V 22AH batteries, the Jazzy scooter covers up to 10 miles per complete charge. The weight capacity is 300 lbs.
One of the most useful features of the Jazzy Zero Turn mobility scooter is the complete lighting package that illuminates the path in the evening. When crossing a roadway, for instance, two bright LED decorative strips in the front and the rear, increase the safety of the driver as it makes him or her visible.
The coolest thing about this scooter is that it has 2 motors instead of one. Each of the drive wheels are controlled independently by each motor which means you can rotate in place by turning the front wheels as sharp as possible. When you turn the front wheels as far as possible, the 2 rear wheels will start spinning in opposite directions allowing the user to rotate in place. This is the only travel scooter with the ability to turn like a 3-wheeler just like the ZT10.
Pros: Very easy to travel with. Adjustable seat, tiller, and armrests. Front basket included. Full suspension and light kit included.
Cons: No USB charging port. Only 4 MPH.
