What Mobility Scooter can go over a curb?

We get this question a lot and we understand why a lot of people are curious about this. However, no mobility scooter is designed to go over a curb. With that being said, some mobility scooters and/or recreational scooters that we carry have the ability to go over a curb, but it can damage the axle and void the warranty. Going over curbs would be considered improper use of the product and if it gets damaged, any warranty claims would be denied.

The Afikim S4, the Wrangler 2, and the Vita Monster have the ability to go up a curb, but it is strongly advised that you do not do so.

The weight of the load is also going to impact the ability of any scooters that can go over curbs. IF someone that weighs over 200 lbs tries to go up a curb, they might not be able, but someone that weighs less might be able to. You probably also need to lift the handlebars as your front axle approaches the curb, to assist the front axle.

We have a video of the Wrangler going over curbs and you can tell that the rider needed to pull up on the handlebars when approaching the curb. Once again, we don’t advise trying what we have done in the video below but you can use it as a reference on how powerful the Wrangler 2 is.
