Hi
My dad has a Freedom Mayfair mobility scooter which has been working fine.
The fault – the scooter either refuses to move, or moves and stops, sometimes slowly movement sometime as expected then stops?
The battery is charged (acid not gel)
The battery indicator shows in the green
the lights, indicator and horn work, even when the scooter refuses to move.
I have removed the seat and the bodywork covering the batteries. All the connects all appear secure.
Suggestions please
many thanks
Sandi
Hello,
Unfortunately, that is not a brand that we sell. It is not a familiar brand by our technicians either. If your batteries are fully charged, and your connections are fine, you may want to look to see if the electronic brake is disengaged. If you can physically roll the scooter without a key in the scooter, you must switch the brake (usually a lever on the back right of the scooter) to the opposite position so that the wheels are locked or engaged.
If your scooter is still not working by the time you read this reply, you should contact the manufacturers directly. If you are looking a mobility scooter, we suggest taking a look at the best mobility scooter brands we have to offer.
