Hi peeps.
My wife has a Jazzy Jet 3 chair arriving in a day or two (used but in good condition). She is a very teched up sort of a lady and will be needing 12v and/or usb power to work a laptop and keep her phone charged up. Can I just connect a normal cigarette lighter to one of the 12v batteries? I am thinking the power taken will not un-balance anything and cause a problem. Alternatively a truck 24V can be connected across the pair of batteries if I can identify which terminals ate connected to each other and which are the actual 24V supply.
Any advise/cautions greatly appreciated.
Doing that may result in a manufacturer warranty being voided. I’m not saying it’s not possible, but you need to know what you’re doing in terms of low voltage electrical engineering. That and a good working multi-meter.
