The Swan VFH129 is an Australian made scooter made in 1999 but there is nothing on the internet that I can find other than that? There appears to be something wrong with the circuitry in the dashboard section apparently? The led flash code is 1 flash and 3 flashes, the scooter will only turn on intermittently and when it does switch on the scooter creeps forward. I took it to a guy who has been repairing gophers/scooters for years, he set the throttle parameters so it will go at the correct speed about 10kms an hour! Before this, it was only topping 3kms an hour with brand new batteries? I bought a new Curtis controller, that didn’t do it either? I did a continuity check on all the wiring, replaced the electrolytic capacitors on both of the circuit boards, checked the resistors, checked and reflowed cold, dodgy, solder joints, etc…If anyone out there knows where I can get some spare circuit boards for this model and/or has any ideas on what I should do, it will be greatly appreciated! cheers,Ross.
Sorry, I’ve never heard of a mobility scooter with that name and upon doing some searches on Google I’m not seeing much information either.
