I have an old 2004 GO GO scooter that I only use upstairs when I go to bed and get up in the morning.
It’s a $300 Craigslist special but it’s worked fine for well over a year.
Now, going “forward” doesn’t click off (relay) when you let up. It just keeps going forward when you let up….slowly…but still forward.
I have to either hit the reverse paddle or hit the forward paddle backwards real quick.
Also…it continually beeps when the key (it’s actually a plug on this one) is inserted. I can bounce the front up and down a bit and get it to quit and it’s fine for a few days. (Intermittent connection)
I haven’t taken it apart yet.
Is there anyway for me to get a wiring diagram for it?
There is no model number anywhere that I can find.
It is a three wheel Pride Go Go scooter.
Smaller capacity battery pack.
I contacted Pride but they never responded.
Bad relay? (I assume there are 2)
Help!
The batteries are on these scooters typically are only good for about 1.5 years. After that, you need to replace them with new 12 volt SLA batteries. Take the batteries out, then read the label to see what the total amp hours are and we can help you find replacement batteries.
