scooter running slower that previously

My Drive Odyseey scooter speed is off. when I set the dial for 7, which has been an adequate level for regular travel, has suddenly been very slow. when I adjust the dial to 10, it does not come to the level of speed that I previously achevied with level 7. What could be the problem. We just installed new batteries and when I used it a few weeks ago when we were on vacation, the scooter ran fine.

When you replaced the batteries, where did you buy the batteries? What kind of batteries were they? We’re they used or brand new in the box?

It could be your controller or the motor going bad.
