InactiveI have an E V Minirider with a noise ( Rubbing / Grinding ) It seems that this is a design flaw as the Front section has been replaced, Does anyone know of this problem and is there a fix for it.

KeymasterYour front shroud cover might be rubbing against the wheel, did you check to see if that is the case?
I would contact EV Rider Directly, ask to speak with Juan.

InactiveFront shroud is not rubbing, have checked all possible causes. Juan has replaced the whole front section, yet the problem remains… Came to the conclusion that this machine was poorly designed, and I need to get rid of it.

KeymasterSorry to hear that Anthony, we don’t really promote EV Rider products. Many of our customers have been left in a bad situation where the manufacturer does not help out when a customer receives a product that was damaged during shipment. They basically tell us that the customer shouldn’t have signed for it if they suspected that the product was damaged. Ironically, the customers cannot tell if the product is damaged before signing off on it. It’s not like the delivery person has time to wait around while you unbox it and test it out… If you decide to get another unit, I’d recommend going with a brand like Pride Mobility or Drive Medical – they would never treat a customer that way.

InactiveThe Machine was not damaged in the Shipping realm, As I have came to know the problem with this particular make and model of machine. I do not hold any part of this problem against Mobility Scooter Direct, as I do E V Rider. I have learned to buy a product that I can physically see and sit on before I lay the money out…. And I agree with you on Pride, Drive Medical, or even Hover round…..

KeymasterAnthony, I can surely understand your point of view and appreciate your response. Customers that live in areas that don’t have many medical supply stores nearby are often left without an option to shop for mobility scooters that they can physically see and test ride. This is probably not the case for you, but many customers don’t have that luxury of going to a local store to see the product before they buy it. Furthermore, most local stores that sell these types of products only carry a few models at a time whereas we have hundreds of different models to choose from. Online shopping is not for everyone, but we try our best to keep our customers happy even if it means taking a loss on a sale.
If you take pictures or video of your Mini Rider, we can have our technician take a look and see if there is something we can recommend to fix it.

InactiveAndrew, I have sent 3 videos to Juan along with 3 or 4 still picture. If I had a E-mail Address to send the pictures and video to you I would. At this point I am just done with it, Thank you for your follow up…

KeymasterYou can send the videos and images to us at [email protected] but I can’t promise you that we’ll be able to find a solution. Sorry to hear about your experience Anthony.
