My first topic, so if I did something wrong, please let me know!
I am very curious about your expertise! I am about to purchase a new electric moped, the e-scooter e2. One seller states that the lithium battery needs a service every year. It is then discharged so that the cells are all equal again. The other seller dismisses it as nonsense and says that, just like your and my cell phone, an internal chip takes care of this on its own. My question to you is can you say something sensible about this?
In addition, one seller says that you should not let the battery fall below 15% before the first three charges. And that it’s better never to let the battery run down, while the other person tells the opposite. What should I believe and do now to ensure that I can use my beautiful moped for as long as possible?
Thanks and best regards
