The user manual from Drive for the Scout Mobility Scooter says that it should not get wet and if happen to get it wet you should try your best to dry the scooter ASAP. Based on that information, I would not recommend using the unit while it’s snowing out. I have a customer based out of CO and often he uses the Scout 4 wheel to get to and from the car when he goes out. He uses it on roads that have been plowed when it’s not snowing and has trouble sometimes because the wheels would spin. Due to the low ground clearance and smaller wheels, this is not ideal for handling wet roads. My customer only uses this when it’s dry out, he loves the scooter for indoor and dry weather although he wishes he had gotten the 3 wheel version that’s a bit easier to turn.
