Could someone please help me regarding battery replacement.
    September 2013 original battery: V12/12AMP
    Subsequent Replacement batteries: V12/18AMP

Is there a battery that has a higher AMP that would work on this scooter. If so, what AMP would it be? And is there smaller, and more powerful battery options out there for this scooter? At present the scooter only lasts less than 5 miles. It suppose to be able to go 10-11 miles.

Thank you so much for any help or advice.

You should really only use the OEM batteries provided by the manufacturer to ensure your scooter operates in the most optimal conditions. Pride offers batteries in both the 12 and 18 ah (extended) which work best for the Go-Go Elite Traveller. You can find them both on our website for sale at the lowest prices.

If you try to get batteries that have a better capacity rating, you need to make sure they are the same chemistry type (dry cell – sealed lead acid 12 volt) otherwise you will fry the machine.
