This is one question our customers have when they want something that can carry their mobility product on their vehicle. In this article, we’ll discuss the details you need when ordering a Trilift.

Here are some things to keep in mind when you want to order your Trilift:

1. What is the make or model of the Mobility Product? What is the weight plus the battery?
2. What is the year, make, and model of your vehicle?
3. What hitch does the vehicle have?
4. Any special requests? Wireless? 7 pin plugs? Lowering/raising?
5. If you plan to proceed with your order, we will need your shipping address and a P.O.

Most of the Trilift orders also come with: The lift, The bracket, Tilt, and the Wiring kit or 7-pin plug.

 

The essential Math computation of a Trilift:

Vehicle towing capacity: 10% of that = tongue weight (what we need)
EX: Vehicle can tow 3000 lbs.= 300 lbs. tongue weight

Weigh of the lift + weight of the mobility product = must be lower than the tongue weight of the vehicle
