Limited Lifetime Warranty

Mobility Scooters Direct backs a manufacturer’s limited lifetime warranty on your new drive medical scooter or power wheelchair. The warranty covers the scooter and power wheelchair for parts only during a one year period. All warranty work must be completed by an authorized Drive Medical provider.

Warranty Conditions

Any work being performed for a replacement of parts must be done by an authorized Drive dealer and service technical. To apply for the warranty you need to fill out the product registration with drive medical and send it in.

Limited 14-Month Warranty

Electronic parts including wire harnesses, speed pot, throttle pot, controllers, brakes, motors, and joysticks will only be covered under a 14 month warranty.

Batteries Drive Medical will warranty and defective batteries diagnosed by a Drive Medical repair technician for a period of 6 months.

Parts Parts warranty will expire three months after the original warranty has expired.

Parts Not Included in Warranty Parts that are not covered by original warranty includes but not limited to the seat assembly or cover, tires, shroud, armrests, footplates, and lights. No warranty authorized by Drive Medical may be transferred in any way. The person who owns the scooter or power wheelchair is the sole warranty holder.
