The all-new redesigned Pride Mobility Wrangler mobility scooter is a heavy-duty, all-terrain, power-packed handicap scooter built to take on the great outdoors. The Wrangler disability scooter is loaded with many upgraded features that will help you take on almost any terrain thrown at it. The 2019 Wrangler is a monster of a scooter with a  weight capacity of 350 pounds. Even if you weigh 300lbs this is fantastic as you will have roughly an additional 50lbs of weight that can be carried. This can be advantageous if you want to go grocery shopping, run errands, and more. The Pride Wrangler is set to take you up to 18 miles (24 miles with upgraded batteries) at a top speed of up to 11.4 miles per hour. This is truly a heavy-duty scooter you can take across town.

The Wrangler scooter by Pride Mobility is very simple to use the machine, that can be used ambidextrously with the standard delta tiller.  The user console is a digital dashboard interface that is simple to use. The entire scooter is operated using the tiller and the controls for the components. Ease of use is very important to many users who consider purchasing a heavy-duty disability scooter.

What makes the Pride Mobility Wrangler such a unique heavy-duty recreational scooter, is the extra-wide tires, powerful motor, and full suspension. The wrangler is accompanied by an 18.5" wide ultra-comfortable captain's chair with removable flip back arms. These types of chairs are well known for their comfort. This heavy-duty scooter is powered by two 12v 74 ah batteries, also known as Group 24 batteries. These are non-spillable, sealed, lead-acid batteries. The batteries are charged by a heavy-duty 8amp off-board charger.  The charging ports on the wrangler can be plugged in near the base, or conveniently on the tiller. Most users prefer charging via the tiller because it is much easier to access than the other port.

When it comes to an outdoor scooter, this is the mack daddy of all other scooters in its class. The Wrangler scooter by Pride is 32.5" wide and 61.25" in length, with an overall product weight of 270 pounds, and a 5.5" ground clearance, provides stability and ultimate performance. The Wrangler is set to take on most terrains such as dirt paths, grass, and packed gravel with ease. Taking the Wrangler out to a campground or a ballgame is no problem at all. Keep in mind that extremely loose sand like at a beach is not advisable. Nearly any mobility scooter or power wheelchair would have difficulty unless it is a beach wheelchair.

There is one downfall that the 2019 Wrangler has, unfortunately, we do not think such a scooter would be able to operate in tight spaces with it's massive 94.75" turning radius. So if you intend on using this in a smaller apartment or condo there are probably options out there which would be better for you. Pride Outdoor Recreational Scooter

The Pride Wrangler is great for the outdoors not only for its performance but its visibility. When riding during hours with less light and visibility, the Wrangler is equipped with a full lighting package. This lighting package includes ultra-bright dual front LED lights, bright rear LED's, turn indicators, and a hazard mode. It is not recommended that you use this scooter driving down main roads, as it is not safe. Always use your sidewalks, and proper crossing at intersections using crosswalks.
