Transporting the Wrangler 2 is easier than you might think. Many van owners can load it by lifting the front into the cargo area and rolling the rear in using the tow bar. Unboxing & Set-Up Process
Unboxing the Wrangler 2 is straightforward with a bit of preparation. Due to its size, we recommend having two people assist and an open space to work in. Tools like a box cutter and wrenches are necessary to install the batteries. Remember to charge the batteries fully before the first use.

Technical Details
The Baja Wrangler 2 is built around a 24 V DC dual rear-wheel drive powertrain managed by a 120 A S-Drive MKII motor controller (CTL1806259). This controller governs current limits, torque ramping, and regenerative functions for smooth launches and predictable deceleration under load. Engineers will appreciate the closed-loop throttle mapping and fail-safe logic that preserves drivability while protecting the drivetrain.
Power is supplied by a pair of sealed lead-acid deep-cycle batteries (AGM or gel), available in 75 Ah standard or 100 Ah high-capacity configurations. The system is optimized for high discharge stability and thermal robustness, delivering a practical range variance based on rider weight, terrain grade, and duty cycle. A smart onboard charger interfaces directly with the pack to balance longevity and turnaround time.
Braking is a hybrid design that blends dynamic regenerative braking with an electromechanical parking brake and a hydraulic hand brake for mechanical override. Regeneration harvests energy during decel events while easing heat load on friction surfaces, and the hydraulic circuit provides consistent lever feel and stopping authority on steep or loose terrain.
The chassis employs a multi-point Comfort-Trac Suspension (front and rear) tuned for low-frequency isolation over broken pavement, grass, and gravel. A steering-axis damping system mitigates head-shake and tiller shimmy, improving tracking accuracy and reducing rider fatigue at higher speeds. Pneumatic 14.5-inch tires work in concert with the suspension to expand the effective contact patch and soften sharp impacts.
Key performance and geometry specs include an approximate 11 mph top speed, a 450 lb weight capacity, an 8.25 in mid-frame ground clearance (about 5.5 in near the motor), and a 94.75 in turning radius. The drivetrain’s gearing and controller current limits are calibrated for confident hill starts and controlled descents, while the frame’s load path and suspension travel are engineered to keep the center of mass stable over uneven terrain.
The Baja Wrangler Cons
Like all scooters, the Wrangler 2 is not perfect and has a few cons. The main con is its size and weight, which make it very difficult to transport without a trailer or heavy-duty mobility lift application. It's not ideal for transporting to parks or nature trails unless you have a big truck, SUV, or van. Most customers purchase this model to use at their property that has many acres of rough terrain or for commercial properties like parks and recreational sites. It basically can be used as a one-person golf cart. To reduce the weight, you can consider replacing the batteries with Lithium batteries, which reduce the weight significantly.
Another con is the fact that the seat is very high up off the ground. For users with balance issues, this can feel unsafe. It's a very fast and powerful scooter, which means if you take a turn too fast, it can tip over, or you can fall off the seat. It can also be difficult to control for some users when going on rugged terrain. The tires are very big, and can jerk from left to right when tacking terrain filled with rocks or branches, as described in our review video. This scooter is not recommended for users who have balance issues or limited hand strength. With that being said, if you have the hand strength to control this bull, you can rest assured knowing it's designed to handle the beaten path with ease.

For the lifetime of your product from the date of purchase, Pride will repair or replace at our option to the original purchaser, free of charge, any of the following parts found upon examination by an authorized representative of Pride to be defective in material and/or workmanship. Limited Two Year Warranty
For two years from the original date of purchase, Pride will repair or replace at their option to the original purchaser, free of charge, any of the following parts that are found defective by an authorized provider of Pride Mobility, the transaxle, brake, bushings, bearings, motor brake (electronic function only), electronic controllers, joysticks, chargers, wire harnesses, and any other electronic sub-assembly.
Limited Six Month SLA Battery Warranty
The SLA batteries in your unit are covered by a separate six-month warranty provided by the battery manufacturer and they are not warranted by Pride Mobility whatsoever. NOTE: STARTING FROM THE DATE OF DELIVERY, BATTERY CHARGE MUST BE MAINTAINED TO ENSURE WARRANTY COVERAGE. FOR MOBILITY PRODUCTS THAT ARE NOT USED REGULARLY, OR DURING PERIODS OF STORAGE PRIOR TO AND AFTER THE PURCHASE DATE, BATTERIES MUST BE CHARGED ONCE A WEEK, FOR 24 HOURS. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL VOID THE BATTERY WARRANTY.
LifePo4 Battery Warranty Information
Each product that comes with Lithium batteries, will have a warranty that is specific for that model. Below is a chart showing the warranty information for each model that either comes with lithium batteries or that can be upgraded to have lithium batteries. Lithium batteries are including LifePo4 chemistry.
Reconditioned Units Warranty
All recondition units are covered by a six-month warranty from the original date of purchase.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not provide for the items that may require replacement due to normal wear and tear. Those items are as follows, the ABS plastic shrouds, motor brushes, upholstery and seating, brake pads, tires and tubes, and fuses and bulbs.
They also do not cover circumstances beyond the control of Pride Mobility. Labor, service, shipping, and any other charges for repair of the product, unless specifically authorized in advance by Pride Mobility. No repair and or modifications to the units in any part without specific consent from Pride Mobility. Exclusions also include contamination, abuse, misuse, accident or negligence, battery fluid spillage or leakage, use other than normal design specifications, improper operation, maintenance, or storage.
Please note that if there is an increased operational noise in the transaxle, the warranty will not apply. This means the unit was abused and excessive strain was put on the scooter or power wheelchair. Batteries found to be completely discharged will not be warranted. Batteries found to have gradual deterioration will also not be covered under warranted because of normal wear and tear use. For more specific warranty information to a specific product please read the user manual provided online or with the product.
Service Checks & Warranty Service
Warranty service must be performed by an authorized Pride Provider. Do not return faulty parts to Pride without prior written authorization. All transportation costs and shipping damage incurred while submitting parts for repair or replacement are the responsibility of the purchaser. Failure to follow the instructions, warnings, and noties in the owner's manual and those located on your product product can result in personal injury or product damage and will void Pride's warranty.
