Another useful way of dealing with repairs is to contact the manufacturer of your mobility scooter directly. As the manufacturers are here to support its dealers such as Mobility Scooters Direct, they also can guide you in the direction of where to get help. For instance if you call Pride Mobility directly and you live in South Dakota, Pride Mobility will be able to provide you with a technicians name and phone number, closest to you. This would be an authorized Pride Mobility service technician. Please understand that not all companies who sell mobility scooters, service them as well. We find it that less than 50% of dealers cater to the warranty. We provide in-home service for new products. This includes parts and labor. This is a contract agreed by both parties, the dealer and manufacturer. If you are outside of the warranty period, you would be required to pay for parts & labor independently. It is always best to buy a new unit versus a used product just for this reason alone.
