The EW-72 is a 4-Wheel, heavy-duty mobility scooter manufactured by E-Wheels. It is a very stylish and zippy scooter, with a maximum weight capacity of 500 pounds. The EW-72 has a comfortable, 19-inch wide captain’s which can adjust forwards/backward and recline. It has a top speed of 15 MPH and an impressive travel range of 43 miles. With these specifications, you do not have to worry about breaking down during long outdoor adventures! Additionally, this scooter is stocked with full suspension, which provides smoother rides and support for bariatric users. It even comes with Bluetooth speakers and an anti-theft alarm system!

2. Maxima 3 & Maxima 4

The Maxima is a popular, heavy-duty model made by Pride Mobility and is available in both a 3-Wheel and a 4-Wheel option. This scooter has a maximum weight capacity of 500 pounds and comes with a comfortable 22-inch wide captain’s seat. The seat can rotate 360 degrees and the armrests and tiller are both fully adjustable. The Maxima has a top speed of 5.8 MPH and a travel range of 19.8 miles. The tires are foam-filled and flat-free, and the Maxima 3-Wheel is equipped with anti-tip wheels. Pride Mobility’s Maxima is one of the most reliable mobility scooters for users of all sizes!

3. Afiscooter S3 & S4

The Afiscooters S3 and S4 are trustworthy and high-quality heavy-duty mobility scooters, made by Afikim Electric Vehicles. They are very accommodating for our heavier or bariatric customers. The Afiscooter S3 is the 3-Wheel version of the S model, and the S4 is the 4-Wheel version. They both come standard with a maximum weight capacity of 500 pounds. However, Afikim offers a suspension upgrade that would allow the scooters to hold up to 600 pounds! Additionally, there are several seat options to choose from, including 20-inch, 22-inch, 24-inch, and a 33” dual seat. You may also choose to upgrade the seat further with gel or memory foam. The seat can be adjusted forwards/backward and recline, and the armrests are adjustable.

The Afiscooter S has a top speed of 10 MPH, but you have the option of a high output motor upgrade, which will increase the scooter’s top speed to 12 MPH. On a single charge, they can travel between 28-35 miles with the standard SLA batteries. Important Tip:

We recommend only using a product that can hold at least 25 pounds more than what you weigh. This way, there is not too much stress on the motor and other components. If you operate a mobility scooter carrying the maximum load, it will put stress on the motor and the batteries. Therefore, they will not last as long as they should and cost more in repairs or replacements.
